ABC Wednesday - V - Vegetables



































My choice of photo for this weeks edition of ABC Wednesday was taken when I was travelling in Myanmar at a market held in Nyaung Shwe.

    Looks like cabbages, which I always thought needed to grow in a cool country. That's what I like about blogging - I keep learning things!

    I love cabbage particularly Savoy and Spring cabbage, which is very green.
    The Greek people cook an interesting dish with large leaved cabbage called Souvlaki,
    The leaves are stuffed with a fragrant savoury minced lamb and then steamed gently until tender.. Delicious!

    Those look so good! I love Farmers Markets. What a great way to visit the non tourist parts of a country as you travel!
