Circular Stained Glass Window

This is an old photograph that I found in my archives to enter this months competition over at The Retirement Chronicles where the prompt for September is Round. This beautiful stained glass window is to be found in the ceiling of a restaurant in Montefiascone, Italy. I will also be linking this post to NF Inspiring Photography

  4. Love this shot. I struggle to take photos with back lighting. My little camera is quite capable but I can never get the settings right!!! Diane

  12. A beautiful window and I like the interesting angle at which you've photographed it.
It also makes me imagine what the rest of the decor in that restaurant is like.

  15. I am wondering where this beautiful stained glass window is. I know someone who does stain glass work on a commission basis - she really is a wonderful artist. Have a great week, and thanks for stopping by to say hi!

  26. Lovely stained glass and not an easy piece to make. My husbands mother made stained glass (mostly church windows) for a living and so we can appreciate the craftsmanship.

  27. LindyLou....I love this stained glass....but I love al stained glass. I have pieces in my windows and as lampshades. It is so beautiful, and this picture is especialy pretty. Such a nice design. You asked about the city and the country reference on my blog. Well, all the houses out where we are are the old timey frame farm houses dating back to the civil way period. Then a few years back, right in the middle of all of us, a contractor bought up a big parcel of land and build what I call modern/city-like homes. There are 4 of them all in a row withhuge yards in the front of them. Hope that explains what I meant. genie
