Taken in Our Garden 18th October 2012
The wonderful Autumnal sunshine that welcomed us home from a trip has been showing the garden off and we have so many apples both on the ground and still on the tree. Everyone else around us also has plenty, wish I was able to actually share the apples rather than just this photo with you.

Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.

we wish we could trade you avocados for apples, we have to many of them and not a single apple
ReplyDeleteOh if only we were able to trade Sandra. :)
DeleteI have a batch of apple sauce simmering right now. I don't have my own tree, but there are several local orchards.
DeleteApple sauce does smell and taste good. Have you tried hot apple cider?
DeleteI wish I liked apples, especially this time of year. But I love looking at photos of them! Nice job, Linda!
ReplyDeleteOur apple tree only had a few apples on it this year and they were not even very nice! They did make good apple sauce though! Good to see you back, hope the connection stays put :-) Take care Diane

ReplyDeleteOh I wish you could share your apples with us too.
ReplyDeleteWe had no apples on our trees this year
and neither did our neighbours.

Hi Fiona. Seems as if this is pretty general this year. We have an orchard at the bottom of the garden, but no apples at all. Very strange!
DeleteHi Linda. Those apples look lovely! You will probably remember the post I did round about this time last year, showing photos of hubby doing the apple pressing. Unfortunately, we have hardly had any apples at all this year. They are blaming the terrible weather we've had all year. Never mind, let's hope next year will be better again.
ReplyDeleteQue beleza ter essas árvores no jardim!!Linda! beijos, chica
ReplyDeleteI love apples and this photo has made me feel like an apple
ReplyDeleteWe have no apples this year or plums. Usually our trees are laden down.

ReplyDeleteLinda, your apples look delicious!A very pretty photo, thanks for sharing. Have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteI would like a bushel of your apples and about 25 pounds of Sandra's avocados, please! :-) Your apples look wonderful. We've lately been enjoying Honey Crisp apples, which are suddenly everywhere. YUM!
ReplyDeleteI hope you had fun on your trip!
The apples look so inviting! But I LOVE your header!!
ReplyDeleteThose look extremely lovely...we have a lot of wild apple trees around here (where there used to be homesteads), but they have a lot of worms. So it's Farmer's Markets for us. I love the kiwis in the header shot too.
ReplyDeleteEu aceitaria de bom grado suas maçãs! Lindas imagens para embelezar o Green Day!Beijos do Brasil!

Nothing quite like an Autumn crisp apple Lindy. A local farm stand down the street sales the homemade cider they make from their apples. It is so delish. I need to buy a gallon.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Linda,
ReplyDeleteNão tenho árvores de maçã em meu jardim, mas tem no jardim do vizinho. Eu amo as flores de macieira, elas são lindas e perfumadas.
