Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
Nigel says he remember this statue from when we visited - I don't - so thanks for reminding me :) Diane

Lindy Lou...this statue is something else. He is definitely making his famous move there for all to see. It rained all night and today so guess that is going to dampen down the fires. As far as I know no homes were burned, but our “Monster Museum” burned to the ground yesterday and 40 acres with it. Sometimes I wonder if it is arson. Very suspicious. Am back at work and am feeling better than last week. My back is finally quiet and not in spams. Take care...have a nice rest of the week. genie

Never know for sure where I'll find you! Lovely that you got to travel there.
ReplyDeleteGreat photo, Lindy Lou! I can understand the reason why this statue has been erected there - he is a folk hero in Hong Kong!

It's a cool photo--but seriously?
ReplyDeleteJackie Chan?
I'm kinda surprised.

Hi Lindy. Sorry I don't mean to be annoying, but I believe this is Bruce Lee's statue in Tsim Sha Tsui. I remember coz I went here a few years back and I just had to take a picture of that statue myself! :). The avenue of the stars is a lot of fun if you're into Hongkong movies :P.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog!
Thanks Dee I have now corrected I was confused by the labelling of the link below when I checked, as I know nothing about either of these actors just thought it made a good composition!
DeleteMy sincere apologies it seems I may have got my personalities muddled up but this link did not help!
