Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
Oh WOW!! What a great shot. I love how ducks (and birds) take a nap. Beautiful colours.
ReplyDeleteI like the name "pasquetta", it seems cheerful - here in Liguria the tradition is to go for a "merendino", a picnic in one of the few flat areas. Hope you had a lovely Easter weekend!
ReplyDeleteIsn't it interesting they can sleep like that?
ReplyDeleteI think it looks so cute when they do that :)) Lovely shot!!!
ReplyDeleteWow, is this a fantastic shot. The clarity is unbelievable!! I love the color of the head, against the water, and the grays with that one beautiful purple feather. Just gorgeous, Linday! Looks like a beautiful day there.
ReplyDeleteOh yeah what a wonderful shot
ReplyDeleteI love the header photo, btw......
ReplyDeleteAnd this one--I love duckies!! And I'm horribly grateful I don't haffta sleep in that position......LOL
Nice shot! The duck's plumage is beautiful and goes well the color of the ripples.

I wonder if that is a mallard or a rouen duck? I wasn't aware you had mallards in your part of the world. Such a cute photo -- I just love ducks. :)
