Spiaggia del Pescatore


Fishermens Beach taken April 9th 2012
This photo was captured during our afternoon walk on Pasquetta,  as Easter Monday is called in Italy. I have posted more photos on  News From Italy in a post entitled Tourists in Town - Festa del Cioccolato Today I am linking to the last, for awhile, Sunlit Sunday which is now taking a break for the summer.

    Some of my favourite places are fishing harbours on the east coast of Canada. This photo reminds me of those places, different kinds of boats, but reminiscent of the life led there. Thanks for linking to Sunlit Sunday.

    My rhododendron has large knobs - many are likely to have flowers in about. 14 days.
    We have approx. 200 rhododendrons in the garden.
