  10. Your gorgeous macro flower shots blow me out of the ballpark. I cannot believe my eyes sometimes. You are so talented at what you are doing. I’m tickled that you keep sharing these beauties with us. If I were one of these tiny little wild violets I would be thinking....please don’t step on me :-) As an afterthought...I have not been able to get that darn Tiny Tim and the tune to his Tiptoe through the Tulips out of my head...it is still blasting away in my brain :-) I keep thinking that he got married on the Johnny Carson Show to some one-of-a-kind gal. Do you remember anything like that? genie

  12. Hi Linda,

Some lovely shots of one of the most beautiful and delicate wild flowers. Unfortunately, I fear that many of these more delicate flowers will suffer in the sudden cold snap we are having here in the UK. Much of the North of the country is under a foot or so of snow and down here in the South, temperatures are falling to freezing at night. A far cry from the 20 degree temperatures of last week!

  17. Hello Lindy.
Beautiful collage / beautiful pictures you show of violets.
Violets are a very nice little harbinger of spring that is both beautiful and smells great.
The weather here is sunny but bitterly cold - DMI (weather forecast) has pledged up to + 10 degrees today.
Wishing you a good Maundy Thursday.
    Hugs Hanne Bente

  18. So cute!
I find wild Violets so intreresting, since they come in so many shadows of purple...apparently where I live they grow only in dark purple :-(

  19. Oh so perfect and so springlike. We had a yard full of them (not necessarily always by choice but by happy accident) when we lived in Oregon.
