Green Glass Demi-Johns |
These demi-johns were originally used for storing wine and they were in the cellar of our current house when we moved in. I love them which is why I have them on display like this in our home. I thought they were a perfect choice for joining in with the Green Day meme.

I was looking at something similar in one of the catalogs I receive in my mail. The are gorgeous! I love glass, I think from all materials it has most character... Brilliant display! :)
ReplyDeleteWe spent two weeks in a home outside of Cortona, Italy and they had these jars strategically placed in the gardens. The beautiful green glass reflected the sunshine so brilliantly.
ReplyDeletePretty! I can see doors and windows reflected in them. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat wonderful green demi-johns. I would have them displayed too.
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting. We don't ordinarily have black barns in Minnesota.
Pretty green and excellent reflections in the glass.

I think I may have read about these in "Under the Tuscan Sun".
