Think this might be a Red Underwing but not sure. There are Rosy Underwings, Dark Crimson Underwings and Light Crimson Underwings. The top wings are all slightly different as are the bottom wings and I am no expert but it may put you in the right direction. See

ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely picture. I'd be thrilled if I had taken it. I used to have a blouse in a very similar pattern to the moth's wings. It was one of the prettiest things I owned.
