Signs of Spring in Aberdovey

 These three photos were all taken on Tuesday 4th February in Aberdovey on an afternoon walk, which was the subject of my recent Travel Tales post.

  5. Beautiful, but too early I think. It starts to bloom here too, hope we won't get winter now so far we only had rain and rather warm temperatures.

  6. Amidst all the terrible storms and rain that we are continuing to have here in the United Kingdom, how wonderful to see those first signs of Spring appearing. The days are slowly getting that little bit longer as well :) Beautiful images, Linda.

  15. Oh how lovely! What are the tiny purple flowers? I saw them for the first time in Italy and thought they were wonderful. :-)

  18. Ah! wonderful! and so glad the poor things are not drowned out by flood waters. Long may they bloom, I particularly like the catkin which looks so bright, springlike and blowy! Uplifting.

  19. That does look like spring! Because most of our native trees do not shed their leaves, we don't have big shows of spring flowers - I miss them! Nice to see some again!
