February At Home
Click on the photo for a larger view.
This is how Our World has looked for most of February, although thankfully today it looks as though the last of the snow may finally melt in our garden.

Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.

I bet you and yours were prepared to handle all of this. How much snow does Marta get on a regular basis?
ReplyDeleteWhoo that's a lot more snow than England!
ReplyDeleteLove the header!
Hey you've cured the word ver.... hurrah!
ReplyDeleteThat's indeed a lot of snow...but snow makes everything look so beautiful!
ReplyDeleteAJAJA!! I think I fall in love with the picture in your header! Why do this to me? hehe
ReplyDeleteI just love it and will go there!
Is this the Jungfrau by any chance?
ReplyDeleteIt looks like the one we couldn't go up because the last bit of train ride was fearfully expensive.
Wonderful header.
I love this photo. All the different shapes and textures combine to make a stunning scene. I could just sit and stare at it and continue to find little bits and pieces that intrigue. Great job.
ReplyDeleteYour winter looks something like the one we had last year. We can't believe how mild this winter has been. We're wondering if we will pay for it during the tornado season. I love your header also!
ReplyDeleteIt really is beautiful Lindy. That is how we usually look for a big majority of the Winter. This year we've hardly had any snow. I missed it at Christmas, but otherwise I am loving the warmer temps.
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Jann
Beautiful photo!
ReplyDeleteStunning photo in your header, love it!
It's been raining here, now all the snow and ice is gone.
Hopefully spring will come soon.
Have a great day.
Mette
Great that you got some snow - good moisture for the garden. I like your mountain shot in the Header.
ReplyDeleteHeader shot is fantastic! Though your world shot has snow, it doesn't look bleak and gives an impression that spring is not far behind:)
ReplyDeleteIs that good to have that much snow where you are? I wouldn't have thought of it as being that cold. (But I am woefully ignorant of geography.)
ReplyDeleteThere are many beautiful photos in your blog. I was impressed very much.
ReplyDeleteI noticed your mountain picture. Is that the Northwand?
ReplyDeleteReally gorgeous photo! Love your header photo too!
ReplyDeleteAwwwww.....now that's a familiar sight. And a nice pick for a photo exploring with all the details and textures and colours.
ReplyDeleteAnd whoa.....that's a powerful header photo!
What a great photo of the mountain. I love all your photos and enjoying coming back to visit them.
ReplyDeleteYou had more snow than we had. Beautiful photo's and header.
ReplyDeleteLove pictures of snow.
ReplyDeleteWe didn't have any snow (just kidding -on the coast of California!), so this is a lot of snow to me!
ReplyDeleteNona has left a new comment on your post "February At Home":
ReplyDeleteI love the photo too. So much texture, but I'm glad I'm not having snow here.
you have snow? Nice shot. :)
ReplyDeleteI love the delicate beauty of this composition, nice shot.
ReplyDeleteHi LindyLou. You asked the significance of the colored fabric squares above the Taos fence photo I posted last Friday. At the time I didn't know what they were, but over the weekend I saw a place in Colorado that had flags like that and when I inquired about them I was told they are Tibetan prayer flags. Just wanted to let you know. I'm following you now.
ReplyDeleteQuite amazing as I watch in the heat of our summer (March 1st actually marks the beginning of our autumn).
