  2. Our fig trees are only just recovering from the murderous winter, We have a few green leaves appearing, but a lot of branches are dead and will have to be cut back. Diane

  3. I have a 90 year old neighbor who talks about having fig bushes at her childhood home. She did not like the taste so her mother would make fig preserves and add lots of orange juice to change the flavor!!!!!
I love figs, especially fresh off the bush.
My husband is sick and I am taking a break from posting but I hope you'll stop by and visit in a week or so.
    Have a great day.

  11. Mmmm lovely. I love figs too, to eat and to look at. I love the purple against the green and the leaves are faulous too. I didn't think I could grow one here, but we were at an Agricultural show last weekend, at a local Horticultural College and they had them growing there very successfully, so I may give them a try. Is your snowball Viburnam out yet? I really love that. Love Linda x

Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
