Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.

I did a small series of 'Doorway' paintings about a year ago. Small is the word because they were ACEO's. One of them looked very much like yours but it was in France. I intended to do more but got carried away with so many other things to paint. It is a lovely door. Thank you for visiting my blog.
ReplyDeleteDelightful indeed!
ReplyDeleteWhat an awesome door and doorway. The flower pots are beautiful along with the flowers on the house.

What a romantic setting! Love heavy doors like this one:)
ReplyDeleteI love those arched doorways and solid wooden doors. The plants in pots and the one growing around the door enhance and soften this delightful scene.
ReplyDeleteNice entrance there.
ReplyDeleteOh, you have just completely won my heart with this photo!! I have always adored (get it?) interesting and inviting doorways, windows and gates, and this one is a real beauty! How did you resist the temptation to knock on it? I wouldn't have been able to. :-) You sure captured a wonderful photo of it!
ReplyDeleteAnd the fact that it's in Italy is icing on the cake. My grandfather came from a little village near Pisa, and I have always longed to visit northern Italy. I haven't made it yet, but it's got the top spot on my Bucket List! Meanwhile, I'm enjoying all the wonderful exploring I can do via the internet, and know I'm going to enjoy visiting more of your posts!
Lovely picture, some day I would love to visit Italy. Not sure if its possible but its on my bucket list
