  1. This reminds me of so many places washing in Africa. Even my Mum did the washing like this when we did the drive across Africa :-) Take care Diane

  3. What a great theme idea...and the pictures are great. I can remember scenes of women washing and drying saris (or were they sarongs..too long ago ) of beautiful colours.I enjoyed your series:)

  6. Such great photos of everyday life there. Sure is food for thought! I’m sure I will look at my washer and dryer in a different way tomorrow morning.

  7. I love this series you are doing LIndy; the jobs (and domestic chores) people do tell so much about a place. This is a beautiful post with all the bright colors ... such great pictures of both the people and scenery.

Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
