Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.

What a neat idea for subject matter! The contorted shape and texture are so interesting. Beautiful lighting and shadows also compliment the compositions. Lovely! Thank you for joining in the challenge this month!

ReplyDeleteThe light was good for photography at the beginning of the week. I like the textures and the little tufts of lime green weed.

ReplyDeleteBeautiful petrified wood! I first saw petrified wood as a child when visiting New Mexico, it is certainly an interesting subject. With the water and sand in your photos, all the better. :)
ReplyDeleteBeautiful shots!

ReplyDeleteVery interesting, although I feel a sadness for the grand tree it once was.
ReplyDeleteSuch an interesting photo with this piece and the water and sand. This beautiful piece of old wood looks like a sculpture belonging in a museum. I like it best here on the beach but it will probably be washed away!
ReplyDeleteLove the swirls and whorls in the wood. :-)
ReplyDeleteMuch more interesting than just trees, well done Linda, god choice. Have a good week Diane
