Final Post For Now! - Faces on Friday - Buddhist Monk - Waiting For Sunset - Bagan - Myanmar

I love photography and have enjoyed posting on this blog for over three years now.  However having recently discovered  Instagram I find I am posting more and more of my every day shots there instead of here! In a way this is sad but it is a fact that blogging and media sharing is a forever changing experience. Time seems to be forever shrinking with so many interests to enjoy. It seems to me that the posts here are more frequently than not ones I could easily have published on Travel Tales and in fact photos often appear on both blogs.
Also I have always enjoyed taking part in Photography memes and they were one of the initial reasons I set up a separate photography blog. This side of the blog has been neglected recently and when I do post I am certainly not visiting  the number of participants that I feel I should be doing. I will still be visiting my blogging friends but via Travel Tales and will continue to follow back those of you that follow me.

Therefore I feel considering all this it is time to make a change! The plan is to continue with my themed posts World at Work and Faces on Friday but instead of publishing them here they will appear on Travel Tales. In fact I will repost the most recent ones there to introduce the idea to readers  that do not follow this photography blog.

I am sincerely hoping that my followers here will keep in touch with me via Travel Tales and maybe Instagram as well. It is thanks to your encouragement, appreciation and support in recent years that I continue to blog.

Keeping my options and therefore this blog open as I may well be back posting photos here again soon!

If you have not yet seen my posts about my trip to Myanmar in December 2014 and would like to take a look, here is the link to the first one in the series. Yangon - First Impressions of Myanmar

  1. i follow both your blogs, so will be on with Travel tales. the reason i hardly ever post on my Fourpawes is it it to much work to keep up 2 blogs. have fun with instagram, most of the bloggers from the past few years that i know are doing twitter, facebook, instagram because of the ease of using their phones. i don't have a phone so am not on instagram.. blogging will some day soon be a thing of the past. but i love it and will keep on until it passes away into something new. forgot about pinterest... there are many ways to be on the net.

  2. At first I thought that you were closing down your blog, so I am pleased that you will continue. The blogging world is certainly changing - I have noticed that many people have disappeared to Pinterest, and Instagram.

    1. Just this one Rosemary, as finding that I am not maintaining the blog as I would wish. I look forward to continuing to keep in touch with you just via Travel Tales.

Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
