Welcome to my photography blog, where I share the world as seen through my lens. All commenter's will receive a visit back from me but no longer individual replies unless you have a question, which I will respond to here. Your praise and kind words are always appreciated but to keep saying thankyou to you all individually, in an original way is not easy. So I am saying it here instead, a massive thankyou from my heart for all the wonderful support, your comments are a great encouragement to me.
Your photo takes me there.
ReplyDeleteabsolutely agree, I call these rocks, hubby calls them stones, you call them pebbles. we argue about it all the time over who is right/wrong. read my post on the subject. beautiful photo, and i like the sand as much as the rocks..

ReplyDeleteGreat macros....the big one looks like a huge rock. Love the grays. genie
ReplyDeleteFabulous shot! I'm usually more interested in the movement of water over pebbles... I never thought to photograph just the pebbles! Nice!
ReplyDeleteeither that's a macro, or those are huge! makes me want to grab some for my candle decoration, sand included :)
ReplyDeleteA Macro Mihaela :)
DeleteI love to collect pebbles every time I get a chance :) Nice composition. Thanks for sharing!
ReplyDeleteYes, I agree, there is something about pebbles on the beach especially when the waves and tides have tumbled them smooth to the touch.
ReplyDeleteLove this shot, I have a few pebbles here I want to paint, but cannot make up my mind what to paint on them. Keep well Diane
ReplyDeleteGood photo of a simple subject.
ReplyDeleteGreetings,
Filip
This shot makes me long for the beach. I haven't had a chance to go to the shore this past summer. :-(
ReplyDeleteOh how could you NOT love 'em...... What a wonderful photo for a gal like me who stuffs her pockets full of 'em every visit to the beach.
ReplyDeleteThis is a love little cache of 'em. I'da snatched up the shiny ones....and the smaller ones to the side just cuz........LOL
There is pebbles in the beach near to my house, too... many of them... so many that the beach is a hard place to walk...

yes I agree; they always take my eye too
ReplyDeleteYes, indeed. The textures make it a fine subject. Nicely done.
ReplyDeleteSimply beautiful! I want to reach out and touch those stones.
ReplyDeleteYes, a good subject because of the different sizes, shapes and colour tones of the stones buried in the sand. It evokes good memories of wandering along a pebbly beach.
ReplyDeletei love the capture and the texture in your photo.
ReplyDeletewell done:)
big hugs!!
xx
The pebbles look amazing and shiny!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely! From time-to-time I'll pick up stones for my collection. :)
ReplyDeleteStunning!
ReplyDeleteOf course, I happen to really love pebbles.
Yep - I agree!
ReplyDeleteThat beauty ... delicious and soft textures.
ReplyDeleteSaludos.
I can picture myself picking up those stones and feeling how smooth they are
ReplyDeleteYou have lovely beach captures.
ReplyDeleteVery nice! I agree, I photographed lots of rocks along the shores of Lake Michigan this summer. Plus you never know what you may find lurking amongst the rocks.
ReplyDeleteYes. And just seeing the photo warms me up.
ReplyDeleteI am with your other reader who likes the sand as much as the pebbles, and pebbles are just a step below gems, right? Very nice.
