Blue Moon

It was fitting that The Blue Moon on Friday August 31, 2012 coincided with the day that a funeral service was held for the first man on the moon, Neil Armstrong. It is Blue in name only, the phrase is used when there are two full moons in one month, the first was August 1st. I took a series of photos on Friday evening of which I have shared two with you here.

I was inspired so it seems appropriate to share them on NF - Inspiring Photography 

Emerging Apricot Blossom and the Moon

These four photos were all taken on March 3rd 2012 and are of the same tree that I shared yesterday, just less than two weeks later in full bloom.
